Today's Country and the Legends

The day started out about 9:30 for folks getting ready for the Volunteer Honda Christmas On The Mountain Charity Ride with 102.5 WOW COUNTRY!  We never dreamed it would turn out this big!  Nearly 200 Motorcycles and over $2,200 raised to buy toys for underprivileged kids this Christmas.  Thanks to Volunteer Honda, The Honda Riders Club Of America and everyone who showed up to make this probably the biggest ride in Cumberland County history!  Here are some pictures from the event.

Afternoon dude Josh Brandon sweating it out on the grill, cookin' up dawgs for all the riders that showed up.  Here, sales maven Jacquie LeCriox tries to give Josh a taste of his own medicine.  Lots of wieners on the grill and now one in a funny hat!

One for you, One for me.

The Crossville Police Department even came by to assist everyone...by getting rid of Gordon Stack.  "You Have The Right To Remain Silent, Mr. Stack."

....

Sgt. Qualls, sir...you OBVIOUSLY don't know Gordon Stack!

The bikes started pouring in!  All makes and models and boy, what a turnout!

Volunteer Honda's Big Kahuna takes to signing people in.

Folks are lining up to donate money to Christmas On The Mountain and get hot dogs!

Newshound Andy Vaughn mans the grill after Josh recovers from grill burns.  "I've never seen so many hot dogs in my life", Andy says.

Come time for the action to commence, the riders gather in the Volunteer Honda parking lot.

Gordon Stack gets out on Probation long enough to hold the Driver's Meeting.

Kahuna's handing out maps of the route so no one gets lost.  200 bikes...I don't think anyone would have trouble finding the pack!

Door prizes were handed out during the meeting.  Here, our Oldest rider of the day gets some handy swag from Volunteer Honda!

It's a Sea Of Cycles at Volunteer Honda in the Cumberland Plaza Shopping Center!

Big Kahuna holds the ceremonial prayer before the ride.

And now it's time to saddle up!

.

Nearly 200 bikes get ready to head out on a 100 mile ride down the mountain through Spring City and up through Rockwood up the Mountain and back to Volunteer Honda!

It turns out All Ages of riders showed up!

Everybody seemed really happy with the beautiful sunshine!

It's time to head out everybody!

Carrying the tail end of the pack was Gordon's son Jeremy Stack here with his lovely wife Stephanie.

All riders out of the lot and on their way on the Volunteer Honda Christmas On The Mountain Charity Ride with 102.5 WOW COUNTRY!

A Big Thanks from Omar and all the folks at Volunteer Honda, The Honda Riders Club Of America and of course all of us at 102.5 WOW COUNTRY!
