Soon, Cumberland
Countians won't have to travel to Knoxville for the
comforts of a modern movie theater.
 
The Groundbreaking
Ceremony took place Friday afternoon, June 7th! They
expect the new 10 screen cinema to be completed and ready
to go by April 2005! Stadium Seating, Huge Arcade
Room, Dolby Digital Sound and a covered drop off area to
protect moviegoers from the weather, Sounds like it's
worth the wait!
Just think...in 9
short months, this area will be covered with cars and the
centerpiece for Cumberland County's entertainment
revitalization will be complete. Soon, folks will
come to Crossville instead of the other way around!
The owners,
construction company, bankers and city officials get their
shovels ready to break ground on history!
It's
official! Now, we just wait til April! The
site is located at the corner of Old Jamestown Highway and
Interstate Drive.
