The Palace Theatre
and 102.5 WOW COUNTRY presented Mountain
Star!
A contest for
country music singers across the Cumberland Plateau.
Recently, dozens
of aspiring singers submitted their demos for our judges
to choose from! Thirteen contestants gathered at The Palace Theatre in Crossville Saturday
September 11th for one of the biggest competitions this
area has ever seen!

judges, Crossville's own singer songwriter Bobby Taylor

performance due to overwhelming audience demand. By
the way, George Strait has some property he'd like to sell
you too.

The Winners were
announced and Tiffany Frazier (l) won 2nd place, Meghan
McMurray (r) won 3rd! Tiffany got a gift bag, trophy
and a gift certificate from Brookview Day Spa.

Circle D Tack & Western Store.
Chip Fountain
walked away with the title of Mountain Star! He
performed original songs, Six Feet Of Separation and Some
Kind Of Savior. Chip hails from right outside of
Atlanta, but moved to Crossville recently to practice
medicine. He is a doctor and says "writing
songs is what's kept me sane for the last 20
years". Looks like it's worked out just fine!
On stage, Chip
described his big win as "One Of The Best Moments Of
My Life"
